Primary School Application Process
Laurel’s Primary School includes Kindergarten through Grade 4. Primary School is designed to help girls develop into independent thinkers and confident problem-solvers who have a passion for learning. The carefully designed curriculum is dependent upon the learner’s active participation and encourages students to develop habits of involvement and initiation.
The curriculum focuses on central themes through which essential skills and concepts of the various disciplines are illuminated. Small classes and a highly individualized approach allow the teachers to respond appropriately to a variety of learning styles and developmental levels and to challenge those with special gifts.

Kindergarten Screening appointments should be arranged for your child by calling the Admission Office.
Applicant visit to Laurel School A visit to Laurel by the applicant is part of the application process. During the visit, assessments will occur enabling us to determine the best educational fit for your daughter. Please call the Admission Office to arrange a visit for your daughter.
Parent visits to Laurel School are strongly recommended. To arrange a personal visit, please call the Admission Office. We would be happy to have you tour the school and learn more about the programs we offer.
