Bring Your Friend to School Day – Prospective Students Grades 5 – 7
It’s Northeastern Ohio Teachers Association (NEOTA) day for public schools. Current students in grades 5-8 are encouraged to bring a ‘friend’ to school on this day. Prospective students will spend a typical day in the classrooms, including lunch, recess and specials!

Upper School Visitation Day – Prospective Students Grades 9 – 12
For students interested in applying to Laurel’s Upper School, come and visit on your NEOTA day! Students will sit-in on classes, enjoy a Laurel lunch, learn about curricular options, Laurel’s athletics and arts programs, global learning and community service.

Pre-Primary School Admission Visit for Siblings
Laurel families with children who are almost ready for Preschool are invited to come explore Laurel’s Pre-Primary School. Jane Thornton, Director of the Pre-Primary, and teachers will have activities for the children and will be available to answer questions.

All-School Open House
A must-attend event for families considering Laurel School for their daughters or young sons, Open House features a presentation by Ann V. Klotz, Head of School, student-led tours, and a resource center with information on special programming and financial aid. Students will be engaged in classroom activities and have a chance to hear from club leaders, classroom teachers and current students and parents.

An interactive program for parents to learn about Laurel’s Primary School (K- Grade 4), this event will include insights from Head of School Ann V. Klotz, and Director of the Primary School Rebekah Klar, as well as tours and observation of classes.

During this interactive evening, current Laurel Eighth Grade students and their parents and prospective Ninth Grade students and their parents will hear from the Directors of the Upper School and College Guidance as well as Department Heads and a student panel. Upper School students will share information about life in the Upper School including course options, athletics, arts and global learning opportunities.
