Middle School Curriculum
The Middle School curriculum is designed to provide girls with a thoughtful scope and sequence of courses that teach and reinforce the skills and content necessary to successful school performance.
We believe that girls learn best when they see connections between the various subject areas; consequently, there is a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary themes. We believe that girls learn best when they work with each other, you can expect your daughter to be involved in a number of cooperative learning experiences. We believe that girls need hands-on learning whenever possible.
We also believe our students should be taught the skills and tools needed to be a good student. There is a strong focus on developing organization skills and a sense of independence. Girls should have a well-balanced program of academics, arts, athletics, and social/emotional growth opportunities. We believe all this can be achieved while holding students to the high standards of academic excellence.
